Submit Car Inspection Data

RPCNB offers certified air brake technicians a method to submit air brake inspections. This is done under the CAT (Certified Airbrake Technician) program. We (RPCNB) will submit inspections for you the CAT. In order to do this a few things need to be done.

1. Read the CATS Standard Operating Procedure (See the Forms page – Form 10)
2. Fill out the contract between yourself and RPCNB (See the Forms page – Form 11) (You only need to do this once)
3. Submit to the RPCNB a copy of your Amtrak Inspector QMP card (with expiration date) or your Air Brake Training Course Card (From PABCO or Other Training Groups)
   • Note: When your card expires you will be asked to submit an updated copy of your information
4. Submit Air Brake Inspection Paperwork: You can use Form 12 from the Forms page or the Amtrak – NOAE Air Brake Form for this submission
   • Note: There is a cost to submit inspections. We will bill RPCX cars directly or we will bill you for cars that are not using RPCX reporting marks.
