Certified Air Technicians

CAT’s are Certified Air Technicians. RPCNB offers, as a RPCA member service, the ability for our member CAT’s to have uploaded COT&S (Clean Oil Test & Stencil) and other inspections and dates under the RPCNB shop Code (Shop Code RAX)

An agreement must be signed before this service may be used and copy of your current Air Brake Card certification must be submitted (and kept up to date with RPCNB). This is a member service for RPCA members, so your membership must be verified.

RPCNB will only upload air dates from our CAT’s or from a Amtrak PC form with a COTS date signed by a Amtrak inspector. The Amtrak upload is only available for member cars.

The Forms page also contains a Standard Operating Procedure (FORM 10) for upload of air date information. Before requesting an upload, please read this document.

There is also a form to assist you in providing the proper data for upload. It is titled: Form 12 – Cats Air Brake Form or you can use the Amtrak NOAE – Air Brake Form. Both are available on the Forms page. Please send data via email. Snail mail takes longer!
